Today (13 Nov 2024), Dr. Panumas Yanawetsakul, Director-General of the Department of Disease Control, said that regarding the outbreak of whooping cough in a school in the Pathumwan area, the Department of Disease Control would like to provide information that the Disease Control Investigation Operation Team, Epidemiology Division, has investigated the disease together with the Urban Disease Control Institute, the Bangkok Health Department, the Public Health Service Center (PHSC) and the Pathumwan District Office.
